It all started when…
Hilary Crady graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with her interior design degree and traveled through Europe. Upon landing back in the United States, she decided to stay awhile in New York City where she found her first job working for the distinguished designer John F. Saladino. Five years later, she returned home to join in partnership with her mother, Gloria Frame. In 1999, Gloria built her dream log cabin in Spicewood, Texas and opened up Plus Two Interiors - Austin, while Hilary presided over Plus Two Interiors - Houston.
Hilary believes in creating environments in which one can respond emotionally, where function pervades and detail is essential. Rather than being bound by a particular style, she believes in the mixing of opposites - old with new, rare with humble, rough with smooth. Hilary’s design aesthetic is timeless, simple, comfortable and uncluttered, often eclectic, striving to be new and fresh without seeming temporary. She combines classical and contemporary design, appealing to both the traditionalist and modernist.
